Projects
Brownfield Manufacturing Facility for a Beverage Company in central India
The Indian subsidiary of the world’s largest beverage company had planned to expand the existing carbonated beverages lines and the associated infrastructure in the Central India.
Aevitas successfully executed the mandate of master planning for the existing and newly acquired plots mapping the present and future expansion and detailed engineering and procurement assistance for expansion of 3 different Beverages lines along with the infrastructure of water treatment, Utilities, ETP, HT Power, Fire hydrant, RM/PM/FG warehouses and roads/drains network.
Agro Food Manufacturing Facility in Maharashtra
The MNC client augmented the capacity of its agro-food manufacturing facility by procuring a plot adjacent to the existing facility. The new combined facility designed by Aevitas was complying with local cGMP regulations and achieved a LEED gold rating. The mandate for Aevitas included providing conceptual design, master planning, basic engineering with costing, detailed engineering for the amalgamated plot, project and construction management and validation for this facility comprising of manufacturing, warehouse (Raw material, packing material, intermediate and finished goods) with cold rooms, clean room, utilities and tank farm.
Integrated Spices Complex, Andhra Pradesh
Aevitas was engaged for the master planning and basic engineering of the greenfield integrated spices facility which shall have special GMP processing area with entry/exit for sterilized products, packaging and ASRS warehouse. The facility is designed to conform to all local and international food safety norms – BRC, HACCP, FSSAI, USFDA and the companies own EHS guidelines.
Corn Processing Facility in Gujarat
As a part of their global expansion and consolidation plans the MNC client embarked upon the construction of new buildings and modification of existing buildings in the existing corn processing facility in Gujarat. Major new/renovated buildings engineered by Aevitas included starch dryer and corn wet milling facility, fine fibre removal, germ dryer facility, liquid glucose packing and maize cleaning. The mandate also included fire sprinkler system design for certain areas.
Bakery Products Manufacturing Facility in Maharashtra
A large MNC has set-up a croissant and cakes manufacturing facility where Aevitas provided design review and customization as per Indian standards. It was also involved in detailed engineering, project management and construction management for the first phase which included 2 manufacturing blocks in PEB construction, associated utilities, N2 and CO2, warehouse, substation, LPG storage area and admin block.
Coffee Packing, Warehousing and R&D in Andhra Pradesh
Aevitas’s mandate included providing basic engineering with a cost estimate for 2 facilities – R&D and packing/warehousing with agglomeration tower.
The stand-alone R&D facility included new product formulation and development labs, QC lab, QA and litigation support labs, microbiology lab, pilot plant facility, sensory lab, coffee vending machine workshop and its infrastructure of central utilities, powerhouse, effluent treatment, fire-fighting system. Both the facilities are designed to meet all the regulatory and statutory requirements.
Brewery and Distillery Projects in Western Part of India
Aevitas has been retained as owner’s engineer for decades with the role comprising of review of design drawings and specifications, coordination, quality control, inspection, document verification and site supervision for a range of projects including grain and molasses-based distilleries, installation of bottling line, canning line, carbonated soft drink line and infrastructure development projects including co-generation, fire hydrant system and solar power system.
